Dr. Joseph Wm. Nussbaumer, Jr. founded GFC Counseling in 1990 and continues to serve as Lead Therapist, Director, and CEO.  Dr. Nussbaumer is a Licensed Clinical Christian Psychologist through FACCT, the Federal Association of Christian Counselors & Therapists, Inc.  (Please see FACCT93.com)  Dr. Nussbaumer has the following degrees, certifications, training, and awards:


*Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling Psychology -- Freedom University (1990)
*Attended University of South Florida, Nova, Stetson, and others.
*Has practiced extensively in the Florida court system since 1990 as an expert witness.
*Has been a Licensed and Ordained minister for over 40 years.
*Teacher and Principal in Florida public and private schools.
*Honorably Discharged Veteran - Navy/Marine Medical Department.
*Certified by Florida Supreme Court as county, family, dependency, and appellate  mediator.

*Founding Fellow and Board Certified in Geriatric Psychology, Child and Adolescent Psychology, FCIPP, by the International College of Professional Psychologists.
*Accredited Forensic Counselor by the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute.
*Licensed Temperament Therapist, Instructor, and Supervisor by the NCCA.
*Certified child and adult sex offender therapist (Department of Corrections, Florida).
*Past Associate Member of the Florida Bar Mental Health Committee -- 3 years.
